The economic crisis has had an impact on many cities, accelerating the decline of certain districts and the communities who live in them. This situation has made it necessary for the different administrations to take action to change this dynamic.

Ecocity hosted the conference entitled “The Economic Crisis, Social Cohesion and Urban Regeneration: Challenges and Opportunities” with the aim of addressing this new economic and social situation from an urban perspective through discussions and exchanges of experiences.

Speakers of recognised prestige from the worlds of academia, politics and public administration will be explaining the most appropriate tools to everyone who is involved in or responsible for driving forward and managing urban regeneration and cohesion policies.
